Our approach to independent living allows older Victorians to live securely in their own homes within a village setting. With the general day-to-day maintenance taken care of, everyone has more time to enjoy what life has to offer.
Our Approach
Our independent living homes typically offer the standard one-bedroom floor plan with the additional features of a patio, and front and back garden. The units have a full kitchen, storage space, and clothes washing/ drying facilities. Resident parking is also provided.
An emergency call system is a standard safety feature in all villages. Wi-Fi and Internet access are also available with many people now wanting to be online to stay in touch with family or follow the news.
Joining an Abound Communities independent living community allows our residents to have access to amenities such communal dining and activities areas, gardens and walking paths. Activities are generally arranged by the residents themselves, and tailored to meet the interests of the community, and can feature cards and movie nights, outings to local restaurants, shopping trips and nearby attractions.
