In a novel way to combine exercise with fun, a new outside exercise park opens today at Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria’s Leith Park retirement village… for seniors.

Wooden blocks each with a different word describing what home means to the 450 residents living in the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria’s four retirement villages will be placed on the steps of Parliament House on Monday 5 August.

Residents living at the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria’s Leith Park retirement village are enjoying finding their green thumbs thanks to a stunning sensory garden gifted to them by horticulturalist and TV personality, Melissa King, Northcote Pottery, AMES and The Garden Company.
