A big thank you

I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the many generous supporters who donated to our Winter appeal.

We have received $10,000 within a matter of days, and the appeal is still open.

The kindness of our donor community really takes me aback sometimes. It reminds me, and all the staff here, that we are part of a wider community who value the difference we are making in the lives of vulnerable older people.

The donations received so far have enabled us to purchase two hospital-standard clinical observation style monitors, a specialised bed, and three lightweight wheelchairs.

Put simply, this equipment will help us to continue to provide the exceptional care that we give to our residents.

I’m committed – and so is my team - to delivering the very best standard of care for our residents, it is the least they deserve.

We are still seeking funds to purchase a palliative care trolley, another specialist bed, air mattresses and gel cushions. I can’t tell you how important your support is and just what a difference these items will make.
