Anazac Day 2022

May 31, 2022

Our 2022 Anzac Day was special and one that always is so dear to everyone’s heart.

At Leith Park, poppies were on display and an Anzac Day banner was displayed with respect. The residents got a chance to reflect and share their stories, it was wonderful to be able to gather.

John McCrohan said an insightful and heart-warming speech and we also had a minute of silence. Christine Bedford had made a quilt and there we also so many wonderful homemade patchwork and small antiques.

Anzac Day 2022 in Currie Park, Euroa was a special day. Barry Ladgrove, Currie Park Resident, professionally entertained residents by playing music after BBQ Lunch. It was a fun-filled afternoon, with the sun shining outside. Staff and residents also enjoyed cake and shared stories about the brave Anzacs.

"I love the fact that Rushall Park residents and volunteers are so active – contributing to life in the village. The sense of the community is strong which is why I put my name on the waiting list" - Maggie Birkett.
