Kim’s Farewell

On 5/5 we farewelled the wonderful Kim D’Angelis, who left Abound Communities after 12 and a half years of employment. Kim played a vital role in the organization, as our Volunteer Coordinator.

Some of Kim’s career highlights over the years include:

• Growing our volunteer team to over 200 people
• Expanding our volunteer program to encompass all our villages
• Introducing new initiatives into the volunteer program including tech support for residents, life story writing and meditation
• The focus for Kim has always been to enhance the lives of our residents. A great team player with a set of values we should all aspire to
• Taking on additional roles in promoting Abound Communities to the broader community

Here is a photo of Kim’s farewell lunch, unfortunately not everyone could attend. It was lovely to have a last meal together and reminisce on the past.

We wish Kim all the best in her future endeavors. We hope she continues to inspire and motivate everyone around her as she did at Abound Communities.
