I have chosen this recipe because it was my Mothers favourite dish. One of my strongest memories was when she taught me how to cook it. I was eight.

I was born and grew up in Singapore. Food has always been central to my life. In my childhood, I loveds trying different tastes and recipes with my brothers and sisters.

Whenever I think about mum, I think about this dish.
